Photographs for me mean more than just perfect images captured in the perfect angle and lighting. Photographs are an incarnation of a life that in itself has its own story and embodiment of emotion and reason whether it be reality or pseudo-reality as we see them to be. How their story is told differs from every eye that views them. To some, they tell tales, give lessons, say a simple message or express an idea, to others they depict an emotion, a state of being such as sadness, joy, anger, contemplation, confusion, victory or demise. But more significant is that they are mirrors of ourselves, for we see them not as what they are, but as who we are. Through them we see more of ourselves and the kind of person that is inside us, how we perceive things and how we judge and view the world through our eyes. We are the essence that breathes the life in to these images and how they come alive is the epitome of our quintessence. The stories that they tell are our stories, and their life is an extension of ours.
we are but mere waves in this ocean of life, granted only a moment to touch sand...
